Kumamoto Castle, Kumamoto

[Access] From JR Kumamoto Station: Approximately 30 minutes on the Kumamoto Castle Loop Bus "Shiromegurin," get off at Sakuranobaba Johsaien, then a 5-minute walk.

From "Kumamoto Ekimae Tram Stop" on the Kumamoto City Tram: Approximately 17 minutes on the route bound for Kengunmachi, get off at Kumamoto Castle/City Hall, then a 10-minute walk.

Kyoto Daigoji Temple

An ancient temple and the legend of Toyotomi Hideyoshi's "Cherry Blossom Viewing at Daigo." This famous spot boasts the highest density of cherry blossoms in Kyoto!

Pass through the vermillion gate and 1,500 cherry trees bloom like a waterfall. Beneath the five-story pagoda, a girl in a kimono passes by weeping cherry trees, and even the wind seems to have softened. Take a bite of sakura kuzumochi at the temple's tea house.

The sweet and chewy texture harmonizes with the rhythm of the falling petals – this is truly Kyoto's "Ichigo Ichie" (once-in-a-lifetime encounter).

[Access] Approx. 15 minutes walk from "Fushimi Inari Station" on the JR Nara Line or "Fushimi Inari Station" on the Keihan Electric Railway

Meguro River in Tokyo

A landscape where city and nature merge to the extreme.

A 4km-long tunnel of cherry blossoms reflected on the river creates a scene straight out of an anime.

As night falls, lanterns illuminate the riverside, and cherry blossom petals dance and flow on the water's surface, like stardust raining down on the Milky Way.

Kumamoto Castle is best viewed around late March, Daigoji Temple from late March to early April, and Meguro River in early April.
